As i said yesterday about that incident, I know everybody bitches about marshalling and the marshalls but they do the hardest job of all and what those guys did yesterday was beyond recognition.

we let it all go over our heads mate as we feel we are more mature than that and even if we get slaughtered in div 2 all we want to do is play some ball at what ever level in what ever division.
It's good to take it seriously but at the end of the day if you take it too seriously then you will end up not enjoying the game. And remember that's all it is!
Losing..... mmm yes, know that feeling well!! Lost every game in our division! Still, we gave some of the top teams a run for their money and came out of it with 100 points!!! Damn, I love this sport!

Lose by being out gunned and outplayed avec Team Zone stylie, we're fine happy to lose and happy to have a good laugh about doing me center of the googs, between the eyes punter style.
However when you get done by a sandbagged team with 3 pros in Nov Div 3 (although this was a confusion between Sparklie and Liz and an oversight), and at least two eliminated players are still on field I think we had a right to protest the result.
Despite throwning our first 2 games rather dumbassly, such a game could have affected our final standings, but also potential sponsership deals. As a first time team out potential sponsers will be looking at our results to determine whether we would be worth lending any support too. Obviously our best way of representing our supporters is by results, not by going out goober style.
I think given the circumstances the tournament was well run and executed. Good playing surface with no worries about tripping over uneven ground, marshalling good, (my only issue with field 3 was that the marshalling was overall good, but certain teams got a little bit more zealous treatment). My only real gripe was with the parking and the twonk who reversed into me motor
