Darren,

Thanks for mentioning the SWPL. It sometimes seems that people forget we run top notch tournaments down in carrot country.

Remember that the SWPL also goes exclusively 7-man next season with a couple of 5-man KOTH events thrown in as well.

Provisional dates are available. Email at email@southwestpaintball.co.uk

If you're curious about the league then check out www.southwestpaintball.co.uk - this is the best regional paintball web site in the world! Word.

If you just started playing then I would suggest one of the “King Of The Hill” events held by MM or SWPL.

If you have been playing for a year then MM, M25 or SWPL are excellent paintball events.

If you are Pro team the MM 7-man or M25 Div 1, but as you are asking these questions I take it you are new to the scene.

I would suggest start where you have a chance of winning then work your way up the div’s. Going to events week in, week out and having your butts handed back to you will kill your team. Do what everyone else has done start at the bottom and work up

Well that’s my 10p worth, hope to meet you some day

Or the MM / Bullies 2004 :

Jaguars
K2
Inferno
Viper
Nexus ( on occasion )....

+ loads of other good Novice and Am teams.
Both these series are hard fought , and well marshalled.
Well worth entering.

I found the M25 a great tournament we played all 6 legs and the atmosphere was great, but like all new tournaments there were a few teething problems, which were resolved. Next year we will be tring out the MM

The only downside to the M25 was the Grand Final with all the teams competeing for points and have been moved up and down divisions it seemed a little unorganised so some teams lost out as they played more experianced team thus losing points while some teams stayed at the bottom of the league and have done a lot better. Also there is only one prize for 1st place and nothing for those below that. Hopefully next year this teething problem will be ironed out.

Other than that it was a pleasure to meet and compete against all those teams that took part.
