Liz: Overall the divisions look fine to me, with maybe one or two exceptions.

Personally the opportunity to play in division one is exciting for me, as playing better quality teams is the type of experience needed to do well at millenium events.

i agree mate but i did not name the team that has been created by others, i actually stated on the 30.04.03 that we have a Pro team and a AM B/Novice team also......quite how they are put in pro is beyond me. also after the last arse kicking they got it is not much to expect for them to be gfiven a better placing.....is it?

Gaff - you've seen from the other thread that we are trying to sort out these issues. One possible outcome will be to make a couple of changes to the current draw and we know your point of view. One problem will be who we could move up a place under the current system, as you aren't the only unhappy team in Div 1 (others have mailed or PM'd me or Sparklie rather than posted here). and I can see no-one currently in Div 2 who are any better than those already up there.
Give us a couple of days to get more constructive suggestions, as Sparklie only posted her poll this lunchtime, then we'll try to sort something out.

TEAM ZONE

AFGM, may have finnished below us but beat us on the day. Have been together (In whatever guise) for a number of years.

Blackstar. Finnished below us but drew on the day (10 m form our flag ) have been together for at least a year and played internationaly.

Tusammi. That one did surprise me !

Zone. Have played well in good company in there TWO tournys together.

This is in no way a justification as I feel no need to justify someone elses decision. Had we gone up (Which we discused last week on seeing the early 32 team list) we would have been neither surprised or complained as we feel we would have been able to compete (if not win alot) at that level. And that would have been our seconed promotion in a row. Somthing to be proud of not bitch about.

BEAKER

Has for the most part of his PB played NOV (Thunder). He is playing with us this one event before he jets off east to collect SARS samples, and I am happy to have him along. He played in Div 2 in the 1st leg with MISFITS who had a number of 'KNOWN' players and for the best part got there buts kicked !! I could name a number of teams out there who have players who have played at a lot higher level than beaker amounst them who are happy to hang around the mid devisions.

RANKINGS GENERALY

Sparklie / liz can only grade the teams that enter by the info they have. There is only one team that is baddly placed (Storm) and only a few more who are a bit questionable. But these teams can not be changed without the replacments being equaly questionable !

STORM Is always dificult to call. Did they not have two teams in the indoor as pro / am ??? I said last time there team names does not help the confusion but I will leave this one to Gaff & Sp'C.

EXPERIANCE GENERAL.

Beakers played less than I have. I've played the most on zone but most of zone have played less that one or two teams in div 4 and rest of 3. Theres a team in div 4 thats been around donkys !..................................


WHEN WILL IT END !!!!!!!...............When teams comit, turn up every round and we can do a proper one up one down ala HCL (And that was once a year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
