If my marker requires low pressure (300-450psi) and I run my nitro bottle (which is set at 800psi) can I turn my reg. down to 450 psi with a lowpressure spring and not damage the marker?

No, not at all. That's how it's supposed to work anyway in most scenarios. Most guns list low operating pressures as such being the input pressure from the reg. You'll be fine. Only gun where the reg actually asks for low pressure input from the get go is the BM2K, but that's not too much of an issue since the stock reg is often replaced anyway.

Well you hit the nail on the head. I have a BM2k. But I am planning on putting my Vigelante reg on just as soon as my low pressure spring get to me. thanks once again for all the help.
