How about the JT TAC05, its slightly cheaper than the Tippmann. Would any shops sell this with air instead of CO2?

Got me the Vexor package not too long ago. Love the mask (proto switch el) and the gun probably beats a standard site gun for accuracy but really needs a better barrel if you want to be near accurate. Mind you, they aren't nearly as durable as the Inferno's or Tippmann's - You can bash those around for a long time before they go seriously wrong. The Vexor sure looks neat, but the coloured body is easy to scratch.

May be the way to go for what you want, but look around first to see what else is available. As for me, lets just say an Ion will be sitting on my doorstep tomorrow morning :)

98s are the way to go mate, theres only 3 real probs with them:

sear trigger: gun keeps machien gunning when a full gas tank is screwed in

o-ring: the bolt goes forward and stays there, when gun is clean internally (its dirty, we find hot water does the trick)

ball retension clip: the bit that holds balls in place, balls will roll out of the end of the barrel if this is happening.

but if you do have any probs that you cant sort (which your not that likley to to be fare), take it to a site where they use tippys, theyll at least be able to tell you where to get it fixed:)

ps, did i forget a problem? think i missed one.....
