Looking for REAL stats on UK Paintball ..

There are no such thing as real paintball stats. I had a research prject for uni back ages ago to which i had to attibute the sources.
The best anyone can do is make an informed guestimate.

Errr you guess wrong. I dont play nspl and dont even know what msl is to be registered with it. Yet i play in the team which won the uk masters this year.
mario is right the only way to get numbers is to guess as there is no idustry governing body to collate real numbers.
The only "bad" thing Robbo said was about your spelling. As for the rest, the man is right.
Friendly as the rest of the advice is, it won't get you what you want. Not every player is registered with these leagues, there are plenty of others, each with their exclusive players, as well as some overlap. End result, some players will be counted twice, while others won't be counted. And these leagues are not allowed to hand over lists with everybody's name on it, so you could prevent double counting. This would breach every privacy law known to man...
As for the industry giving up their figures, ain't gonna happen...
So don't get your panties in a bunch, Robbo was actually right, and apart from the spelling comment (which you admit he has a point with), he was not unfriendly. Or are you offended by everybody that can't help you?
Jason let me explain something that you seem blissfully unaware of for some reason; when somebody puts a smiley face at the end of a comment, it generally means (leastwise with me) the point being made is done in a friendly fashion.
The smiley face at the end of my corrective advice qualified it appropriately, it was friendly advice, nothing more!!!
Also, note the usage of 'mate' in my post, this is yet another example of the tone of the post being friendly........I got no idea why you think my post was anything but friendly and maybe your accusation was borne more out of embarrassment with yourself for a basic misspelling rather than anger with me for being rude ?
Ya know, it seems kinda ironic to me that somebody who was trying to collate this type of data (for whatever reason) might well have acquainted himself with the correct spelling of 'average' ... it's misspelling just stood out like a sore thumb.
As you may not know, I did used to teach and whilst I might not be your appointed tutor, I find it hard to let such glaring mistakes go unmentioned, sorry mate, it's just my way.....but if you want an example of me being nasty, then no problem, I can accommodate all sorts, just push the buttons mate, and I'll serve it up...

2 How many UK Adverage Punters try paintball a year ?
Like joe public? 200,000 a year.
3.What increase has there been in UK Paintball in the last 3 years
Static. Compare it over last ten years and there's been a significant decline. I'd say at least 50%.
4.How many UK sites are there
A handful. C:f ten years or so ago when there were 350.
5.How much money is taken in from all UK sites a year (Adverage)
No chance of knowing....
6.How many boxes of paint our sold in the UK a year ?
Piper, work our an average for us.

I understand that the facts aint obvious, and just wondered if anyone knew thats all..

Just a tip, and not meant sarcastically, if you post a reply, you see a small "ABC" with a 'tick' underneath it in the top right corner. Clicking that allows you to download an online spellchecker. Might be handy for some folks.

For finding out stats on sites theres is all ways yellow pages and the internet! i would assume a lot would be listed some where.
you could ring a few and ask how much on average they take in a year and how many people they have come through there doors and are any returns from previous experience. ( thats if they would tell you that is)
this should give you something to start off with at least.
As for paint sales you could all ways ask the manufacturers for how much paint is supplied to outlets in britain, gives you a base figure to look at.
the rest your on your own soz ...
