HI mate
I spent money updating my inferno for rec ball, but it was nearly 3 years before I moved into tourney. The nice thing about upgrading an inferno is that you can still use it on a normal rec-ball day with work mates, etc, which is why I still have it.

Updates enhanced volume chamber, vertical expansion chamber, venturi bolt, Dye Xcel 14"barrel, Heat double trigger and Thumbwheel velocity adjuster.

I'm not one for buying second hand, but a lot of people and team mates have bought pre-owned markers. A lot of good equipment at cheap prices, so consider this route if you are short of cash and want to step up. Go to a local walk on and check out all markers there, most people don't mind you having a quick test fire.

what dw said is true go to local walk on and have look there are plenty to have a look at and yes most of the owners of the marker don't mind if you have a go with them:D :D :D
