LOOK!!!! Euro 5 Man Results, Pics & Thanks etc etc?

Hi all,
Thanks to everyone who made Euro5Man an event to remember, especially Warren and Julie for all their efforts and getting the local community involved. I think we paintballers can come across a bit scary sometimes, but if there was an event to prove that we are not, it was this one. OK, Yorkie on the loose might be the exemption that proves the rule though Parents, lock up your daughters! The Yorkie Man is about
Pity we didn't bring any suitable clothing and could not join in the fun. Next time we will catch up!

Congrats' for winning Div3 and a massive big-up to Yorkie, UKM and Halloween Silver for letting us use their showers to clean up!!! Thanks a million folks, we won't forget.
Well done Lions 1 and 2 for playing some wicked paintball. Shame we were just outside the magic 521 points (Lions 1 = 472, Lions 2 = 506 )
I preferred field three (black'n'red) because it made for some fast games. I find 5man much more fun than 7man simply because it much faster. Perhaps there'll be a 5man series in the South one day?
Shame about the weather but the event was great nevertheless. Really cool having a cosy staging area and grand stand too!
The catering was crap IMHO because whenever I went up there I heard "Sorry, not today" or "We just ran out of...". No veggie stuff and no fruit, oh and funnily enough no water... . The funniest reply was when I asked for some fruit on Saturday and they said "Sorry, any other day we have it but not this time." Uhm... only just found out about the event then? Fruit and sport don't mix? Oh well. I won't let it spoil my fun

Yes catering was a little under provided but with a massive Tesco store 3 minutes away maybe a little trip there would have sorted your problem. ( And I believe it was open 24/7)Originally posted by =IL=Woody

With regards the Chrono problem, there was a chrono area and still even on the Sunday people were complaining there wasn't a chrono area. The reason it was a little difficult to spot was that the Radar chronys that were promised (or not promised) didn't turn up. We had hand helds, actually the same as used on field, hanging up on the Harris fencing in the chrono area. But unfortunately some people, either deliberatly or absent mindedly
walked off with them

Over all, much better tourny this year but as with everything always room for improvement. You guys are spoilt nowadays, I'm sorry to say I remember the days of crappy tournies in the woods
now that was really Paintballing, I remember once there was me Robbo, Dave Stewart in a wood in Essex..............Camo............Blah...................Crawling............Blah-Blah............................
Ps If any of you did happen to think the chrono your buddy handed to you was his, and kept it safe for him, can you send them back to Warren, he has to replace all the lost ones

just like to say an extra special shout out to TEAM 5 STAR first unlimited event and only their 3rd tourney ever and they managed to get through to the final 12 beating some good opposition on the way!!! awesome achievement
