seen your link feed on your web site...must say looks pritty smart!
For red Loc-tite, yea, they sell something, a blow torch! Heat is the only thing that will soften it enough to break it free. On front block plugs, I take a 3/16" wrench, rest it in the plug, then heat the other end with a torch. The hex wrench heats the plug, softens the Loc-tite, and you can get it loose. Once it's nice and warm (most times, you can see the Loc-tite bubble around the plug, you don't need it hot enough to smoke, just warm enough to become liquid), unscrew it.
Best bet is to use a junk 3/16" wrench to heat it, then a good one to actually remove the plug. Once it gets heated a few times, it looses it's temper and is ruined for anything but heating up plugs.
You can use a hair dryer also, but it takes a LOT longer, and it will heat the whole front block.
If I recall correctly, the Loc-tite needs to get to 200 degrees F to melt.
Thanks got the compliment on Link Feed, I hope to be able to get them to the other side of the pond at some point. But, I have to figure out the customs crap and so forth first
