Quiet word to the wise...p8ntballer is a paintball site (like, duh...) and the forums are an extension of that. Let's make sure we keep it paintball and not let the boards - especially Speak Your Brains at the moment - degenerate into bull**** conversations which have jack to do with pball and lots to do with bored/stoned/inane people wittering away to themselves an anyone else who cares to listen.

Hey hey hey - we ain't singling anyone out...s'just that if you take a look at the top 10 posts in this forum, there are 2 or 3 that are just bull****. The guys who run this site put in a hell of a lot of work and we all get a damn awesome site for free - let's not abuse that.

And Paul, we don't like to moderate - self-moderation is where it's at. If people wanna talk **** to each other than that's cool - go find a chatroom or mail each other - but don't clutter the board so that when potential new members show up they think 'this site is crap' and don't come back. That ain't good for the sport, or for p8ntballer, or for any of us...

That's it - no big brother, no banning, no blame - just everyone use your brains b4 u speak 'em.

I agree, the odd joke or goofiness is cool, but lately there's been a whole heap of all kinds of crazy sh*t going on. Lot's of political (Eeks) stuff.......Hmmm, I think I've expressed similar sentiments in previous threads......

But what I think ol' TJ is getting at, is that lately there has been (almost) nothing BUT none paintball related threads. Along the lines of 'what did you have for dinner last night?'. I don't think (speaking for myself now) there is a problem with the occasional political debate, but it shouldn't be the majority. I'm sure you'll agree that lately there have been way too many of those.

It does happen easily if you're not carefull though. Like now. This stuff is only very marginally paintball related. TJ, what did you start!??!
