Surely its not just about weight, but balance?

The vlocity and its jnr counterpart have the board, drivecone and batteries BEHIND the feedneck, creating a rear-biased setup, where as the halo and its offspring (reloader B's and such) have the heavy batteries at the front, and the board and drivecone at the back, giving a better weight distribution. The more weight you put at the back, the more your gun will kick up during firing (basic physics) as most of the weight is already at the back due to the tank, thus giving a rear-biased centre of gravity. To reduce kick, I think you'd want your centre of gravity to be along the same vertical axis as the centre of the bolt cycle. With current setups, the centre is around the back of the paintball marker (hence snatch grips).

Which is why I'm tempted to go ghetto and spin my bottle round... watch this space

so you want your hopper above the snatch grip? which means back heavy hoppers like the vlocity are better?

Halo with Cranium shells & BONE pack - 604 grams
BONE pack - 100 grams
6xAA Battery Pack - 150 grams

It seems so from the measurements...Quite surprising though, as Craniums are thicker.
