yeh, but your are bias tho (being sponsered by planet and all) .. and i not dissing that fact, but having a nuetral review would be nice.

honestly, this thing is something else. out the box, no adjustments, its just FAST. and light. how can you be bias about wieight anyway?

i can hand on heart say that even if planet didnt support our team, id be shooting an eclipse gun. ive shot planet guns my whole paintballing time, yeah i tried an angel (eek) and an ion (EEK), they got sold pretty quick.
Eblade, 05 ego i wasnt sponsored to shoot 0 i bought them because at the time I perceived them to be the best markers I could get.
I got an 06 on sponsorship, and will get an 07, and have also shot the ETEk for a while because we are the ETEK demo centre at Northern Quarter so have a bunch of them to use.
However, the service I recieved from planet (nicky t et al) prior to me being onboard with The Firm, and able to have a sponsorship package, was just as good and I would be stupid to use another brand, expecially as i live 10 mins from planet uk HQ.
I'm by no mean doubting the Ego marker, i have just sold my 05 to hopefully update to a 06/07 next year, i was just saying that having a nuetral review would be nice.
i was hoping to come down again, but money is tight at this time of year.. so hopefully next year.

Although I can't comment on the performance, I can say that just by holding a EGO7 and getting the feel of the gun that I want one.
It is seriously light and fits well in your hand, looks good and did I mention light?
I don't think the ION can be that much lighter and thats a piece of plastic crap.
If I had the money I'd get one.

I managed to get to play a couple of games with one, and straight away you can tell it's yet another great product from Planet.
I especially like the trigger as it came out the box, the option for using the spring or the opto beam will appeal to alot of people
