Warped respond - it's a war :)

A Few Points Of Clarification n(from Warped Sports

We completely understand and respect Emily and PSP's position. However, since this was emailed to media sources, we want something cleared up right away.

Warped Sportz had absolutely no association with whatever went on at Campaign Cup in England, good , bad, or indifferent. Warped Sportz spent no money, and provided no staff for the event. We have never even SET FOOT in Europe to vend or promote our product. No Dark Series Barrels, Dark Cocker Markers, Cog Ball Detents, Vicious 3-ways or the like interacted with any naked women to our knowledge. (editor's note: good use of press to further your products name.)

I believe the area in question was some sort of VIP area ran by WDP, that I am only aware from the rumor mill. This is a case of guilty by association. Just because WDP and Warped Sportz frequently work together on a wide variety of projects, most notably the Dark Angel, does not mean we are the same company and do everything together!

In fact, I do believe WDP is attending the Cup. (See, we are two different companies!) Secondly, we have no idea what is permissible or not permissible in England, and since we do not attend Millennium events, it is irrelevant to us. Maybe nothing illegal even went on there. We don't know nor don't care. Futhermore, we had no intent to recreate whatever went on at Campaign for World Cup.

Our intent was to simply to inform the public and media as to why we were not attending the event, not upset PSP. In fact, we think it shows a level of respect to stay home and follow their rules rather than show up and blatantly ignore them.

Finally, we resent the implication that we were never considering doing a free concert with Unwritten Law or a Dark Carnival. There are several ways we could prove we were in talks to do both, but to be honest, with our track record, we don't feel like we have to prove anything. We are sure that this year will be another highly successful World Cup, just one that is little less fun. We have no hard feelings toward PSP, and hope they can say the same toward us.

It is common knowledge that Warped Sportz president Ed Poorman is also a member of PSP, so we obviously have no beef with the organization.

Sincerely,
Dan Napoli Warped Sportz, Inc.
