Don't wanna piss on anyones bonfire, but
1. Are we sure we want the idiots on Big Brother running around with Paintball Markers????? - I mean the collective IQ in the house has to be in double digits.
2. Is a bunch or work-shy wannabe famous mincy fops the reputation we want for paintball as a sport / pastime / hobby?
3. Does anybody watch Big Brothers Little Brother anyway, isn't this a little too gimicky?
4. Considered the safety aspect? The idiots in the BB house are so vain (to wanna be in there in the first place), they'd be lifting their masks every two seconds. It's not as though you can put a Marshall in (unless Tortoise Licker is volunteering to spend the next 6 weeks inside?). Whoopee one of em gets tagged in the eye - then what?
5. Can you imagine the drama if any off em get shot cop a welt. I don't think an Air Ambulance would be justified to airlift Federico or any of the drama queens out of there.
6. Been in the Tournament Section recently. I don't think Paintballers need to bring any more ill-repute on themselves without the help of Channel 4 and Big Brother.
Don't be fooled by the "Any exposure is good exposure" myth of reality TV. Look at the uproar most people gave Paintballs airing on Dirty Sanchez and Jackass.
You wanna see Paintball on TV, get the Huntingdon Beach DVD. Even the "Emulsified", thing that used to be on C4, was at least good for the Rec scene and had "some" safety aspects / responsibility.
Please don't subject us to further ridicule and misunderstanding.

sorry but i agree with strongl, if paintball is gonna get on tv we wanna show the world hows it menna be played - on a supair field not in the big bro back garden.

Well it may well be highly amusing to see the Big Brother contestents shoot each other in a "comical paintball style", although I personaly favour AK47s over Angels.
Look I maybe one of the most frivoulous prats on the board, with a penchant for posting nonsense (spent all day Sunday hiding from Duff and Piper), but I'm deadly serious this time. Why go out of our way to inevitably tarnish the image of Paintball.
Everytime Paintball has been on maintstream TV most of you lot have complained and b*tched about it. It was raining angry smilies everytime someone mention's Emulsified etc.
Putting Markers into the hands of idiots in an inclosed and unregulated environment (putting marshalls into the BB house goes against the rules of outside contact), is dangerous.
If you wanna get pball on tv, lobby Channel 4 to bring Crossfire (not really bad for paintball as a whole although not representative of Tourneys). Or lobby Eurosport to put on Super 7s / X ball etc (the filming of Huntingdon Beach was almost possible to follow, even though Rocky kept going "Whoooooooaaaaa check da Big phat Cyclops").
OK so I'm getting old and serious, but you go out of your way to say "f'ing punters and googles up" etc, and then say give markers to people with all the depth of a puddle. Anyone remember Alex from BB last year. Well he went to my school, although a few years younger than me, and he was so vacant, if you stood next to him, you could hear the sea.
