Thanks - actually, I was talking to them about the Blackpool Exhibition event, and they want to come up to watch that.
That got me thinking - the event is used for showing tournament paintball to the general public, and educating them about the game.
Now, one of the great things about paintball is that anyone can play it, no matter what size, age, shape or sex you are.
For example, today you have Greg Pauley leading the way with Vicious - he's no male model, but he's a killer player and a great leader.
Back in the day, Aftershock kicked everyone's ass, and most of their squad were anything but size 0.
Then, you had great female players like Karen Barber and Keely Watson.
I think we ought to push this aspect of paintball by maybe putting in an under-18 team to the event, and maybe an all-girl squad from, say, a school local to Blackpool - Rossall comes to mind, and if they have an all-girl hockey team they should be able to kick some serious ass on the paintball field, as female hockey players are usually hard as nails.
What do you think?
