Legacy to NXL?

Well, now that we've drifted toward the Twilight Zone (or maybe not) there was some talk not so long ago about the RL trying to buy a spot in the NXL with some really wild numbers being bandied about as to the prospective price of entry--yet nothing came of it.
More clever manuevering from the forces of darkness or just a pack of nonsense?

And here's another shocking question for ya--Since when did NXL field design include a turnbuckle?

Don't Gary Shows and his son both work for Dye?
Does anyone feel that dropping 200g into the X-ball at this exact time is an astute finantial decision?
I thought something similar, until a friend pointed out the Shows used to own a pretty large scuba supply company that he sold a few years ago. It's possible that he's re-investing the money from the scuba business into the paintball business. (as Booya said - he might be independantly wealthy)

And working at Dye, I'm sure he's heard what a great investment an Xball franchise will be :D :D :D

I'm more interested in who team number 10 will be. Portland Naughty Dogs? Boston Russian Legion? Anaheim Mighty Ducks?!? :p

I heard a while ago about that Russian offer. It was 100g I thought. Do we think that the price of a franchise has doubled. Do we think that someone on the inside would be charged twice what someone on the outside was quoted?
It ain't the twilight zone, Locomatic, it's basic ecomomics at thier crudest

Intheno not apparently 'in the know' :)

The initial asking price was 500k and was being driven downward for obvious reasons.
As of yet there is no agreement between the RL and the NXL.
