I am pretty sure there is a sticky in the tech section which shows what each type (number) does and how to use/remove it

hi mate i got mine from a mate who is a mechanic its loctite 572 not sure where to but it from but try any diy/plumber supply shop hope this helps

cheers tom i tryed that both surfaces where clean and put on a fresh oring but still had problems

There may be a mark on one of the faces stopping it sealing.
