great thanks Luke C,

we were thinking it would probably be the northern quarter, he can't drive so he was hoping to try and ask someone from here who went from Leeds for a lift.

I'll let him know that if he can get a bus he'll be able to get picked up.

thanks again !

yep, at the moment it does look as though well be training at NQ, hopefully we'll get some members with cars or someone who can drive a minibus but we'll sort something out...

Ha ha this guys a funny guy. did you know that recently Leeds met was nominated as one of the top five university's in the country to go to? and that was from The Times or some other similar calibre paper. Leeds didnt even get a look in. Go figure

I have many other facts if you'd like to debate about it. :)
heh, i know...apparently you're supposed to be pretty good for sport too?

you dont have to worry about getting to NQ from leeds, the transpennine train goes from leeds, straight to manchester airport, probo cheaper and quiker than mini bus or car. only £17.50 return from wakey for me .

i'm thinking it must be possible to get a minibus for cheaper per person as when we use one for kayaking it costs us about £4 for the whole day including everything else but that'll be pretty handy thanks, i'm supposed to be going down to the newbie day on the 14th so i'll prob have to get it then...

and as far as varsity day is concerned i fully intend to prove that if you sit in your room with your fingers in your ears making la la la noises it didn't happen :)

Hi Lee, just started Leeds Uni this year too - really interested in starting a team. Have a bit of experience - played a few tourneys (won a round of Northern Masters KOTH).. So yeah add me on msn or drop me a text sometime we can meet up for a pint and discuss stuff.

Oh and if Met boys would like to train with us that'd be ok I guess - the Celtics American Football team do the same thing.... and they seem to do fine.
