Have a bit of patience Liam. The last thing you want to be doing is pressing away at the buttons with out knowing what they do.

It looks like the battery was just dead, so don't worry.

Go to www.angel-owners.com and download the manual. When you get into the homepage, up in the top right is "others". Press this and go to "manuals", then download the lcd manual. If you have trouble reading it, I have the lcd manual on disk, good quality as well.

The buttons do quite a lot so be carefull.

After the lcd has had a charge, turn it off and back on, then it will go to a screen test then go blank for about 3 seconds, then go to safe.

When in safe mode, press the red button for a second and it will go live. SHOOT AWAY!!!!!

PS That 6 showing up in your screen is probably a B, as in the default firing mode the marker is in...

Good luck.
nope mate it was on as toma aleady made sure with me, yeahtis a b now i look more closely...

Anyway, toma cheers for the help, got it to turn on and for the past hour and a half I have been wandering why it’s so temperamental, meaning it does different things each time I switch it on! Well have now discovered the trigger screw was set too long on the blade frame, so it didn’t allow the micro switch on the board to release fully, it was being held in almost fully. With this constant pressure being applied for I don’t know how long the switch is quite loose, don’t know if I should superglue I to the board or just put up with it, or buy a new board (probably a stupid idea), I cant find the right size Allen key to back off the top screw of the blade frame as that would allow the micro switch to release then wait for the next pull to fire the gun, instead I backed off the lower screw underneath the top one and improved it greatly, put the grips on etc, but then it did the same thing again and would only fire every so often. So waiting to find the right Allen key!

One more thing I went through the menu and there were only 160 shots on the board, I have the strong feeling I have reset it :( don’t really know how probably touched something on the board when putting it back in etc, I did not know it could be reset? Or is this because the battery depleted completely meaning the board lost its memory, or is it not a flash type memory so it saves the data no matter what?

Please don’t fill this thread with stupid replies, need some detailed answers please guys (toma :D :D :D) lmao

Cheers

Hi Liam, glad to see it's sorted, and yes the board can be reset, but with the data link. You won't have done that yourself, even by accident. If the board is replaced the shot count is at zero, so it may have had a new board. Are you looking at the trip count or shot count.

I've put two 2mm bolts through the board and microswitch on my lcd's, it helps to keep the switch solid. There are already holes underneath the switch to do this, so you don't have to drill anything.

Quite a common fault, the trigger being just too close. This is where all these bounce problems come from.

The board won't reset if the battery dies, i have a board sat in my workshop that still has it's shot count, and that hasn't seen power for weeks.

Anyway mate, glad to see it's ok.

Cheers for all the help and advice mate ;) Got the right sized allen key and backed of the toe (its not called that but im thinking of my speed) it is much better now, but will look into the 2mm screw thing, did notice the two holes on the underside of the switch, seems a good idea :)

Yes mate, bolts through the board and nuts on top of the switch.

PS. You must have had a good deal with that impy and bottles.
