you can only use it on privately owned land.
the old bill the the powers and rights, to take it off you if your seen waving it around at the kid next door, and you'll prob find a possession of dangerous weapon charge thrown at you, and with these new anti-terror laws you'll prob find half the met's finest fire-arms officers giving you a call.

it's fine to transport the marker as long as its in a closed case out of sight.
and keep to private property.

Be VERY careful if you use it in your backyard (or anywhere near where people live). You may find yourself on the end of an ASBO!

I think a car may qualify as a "closed case"... Provided your mates not hanging out the window pointing it at old ladies screaming "git sum git sum" I dont think theres a problem having a marker loose in your car, provided it has a barrel sock on it :)

A marker on the back seat is a big no no !
If it can be reached while you are in the car or even if the police pull you and see it on the back seat, you'll find yourself in a whole heap of trouble.
Having the marker in the boot would be ok but how do you put it in there?
Do you walk across the road to your car with your marker in your hand?........yep that's a no no too.
Paintball markers are class 2 firearms and need to be treated as such, if you are caught with one in a public place (any public place at all), you are likely to be treated as a member of Al Quida by the police.
Even if you just buy a £5 sports bag from the market and put it in that, then you are safeguarding your freedom.
Sounds extreme but the police recently locked down an entire street because someone was titting around with an air pistol down my way. And yes the armed response unit did go in and take the guy down ! No shots fired but he didn't see daylight for a week.

definatly not!!! as diablo said!
my mate got half the armed squad on him for leaving his kids cap gun on the back seat, some local called the fuzz, and they were there in seconds demanding him on the ground with mp-5's pointing at his head!
so i REALLY wouldn't recommend it!
