Can you explain what the process was for the choosing of the teams??

And why do four teams have to have a playoff for the remaining 2 spots??And if it has to do with NPPL rankings why didnt they just take the top 8??Just seems a little shady to me:confused:

The Sunday games are going to be drastically abbreviated, including the college one, mainly by cutting down on game time. That isn't exactly news or rocket science though, when you figure that it took 3 days to push 8 teams through at IAO.

As for the college game, it won't get bumped out, as the schedule actually works out better with the college game in there. When you're doing an elimination tournament (assuming it's going to be elimination anyway), games get tight towards the end and the college game makes a good buffer. Lets the other teams catch a breather while not boring the spectators to death. (Yes, I see the inevitable crack that will follow that statement coming.)

Anyway, the College Championship X-Ball game is at 2:45, barring some other interest changing the schedule now that I've posted a time, heh. Hopefully that wasn't supposed to be a big secret. ;)

Glad you posted that. I was worried that I might miss my plane if my boys from Drexel make finals :D :p :D
