now this isnt a versus thread but i was wondering what knee pads in your opinnion would you get? now this isnt a case of try before you buy is it so any opinnion would be good

Redz padz are very hard wearing and provide great protection. I used them for years as a front player and only stopped when i started to use Eclipse Pants which offer good protection on there own. Hey I could send you a pair with the Ego if your still interested LOL. Oh and have a standard 06 Ego for sale too now in black. Drop me a pm.

Ive been using the Empier vents gel pads. They offer knee and shin protection, as well as that because the pad is basically like a sleeve around your leg, it reduces the pressure pains you sometimes get from the fastenings, something which i recomend you look out for when getting pads of any kind,.

I use C5's, they seem to take anything you can throw at them,

The angel pads are ok, but their sizings are slightly odd, for example with dye you go a size above what you are, so for them in an Xl, but for angel mine are L and still fall down, so while their my favourite yet you do need to find decent fit otherwise no matter how good they are they'll feel like cr*p
