Ray hit the nail on the head.
Most people who buy the typical low end starter package have no idea.
They assume because its being sold at a paintball store and looks cool that it will be fine.
I just feel they are being robbed of enjoyment on the field - we have all seen it in the pits .... the kids saying they have to take a break because of their mask!

It just anoys me when you know for a tenner more the shop could give them a thermal lense.

Perhaps because they're business' and they're trying to make money? By charging an extra tenner for thermal lenses instead of having them buy a new mask it means they lose more than a tenners revenue.

Its a tough old world out there. Business' are just trying to make money...

I think your misunderstanding me here Mario.

Educating in the benefits of a thermal lense, offering an upgrade for example an extra tenner for a mask with a thermal lense.

Its in a businesses interest. If they asociate a negative experience from a purchase from them they probably won't go back anyway.
