I saw a helmet cam for like £99 while browsing in the Argos... I got ideasim trying to mod my biking helmet cam to fit my mask
Its not an odd shape lol just like having a pack of fags hanging off yoru barrel.... the set up is here:

no its clamped on - there are two clamps the wrap around the barrel.
We put all four of them through their paces at Living Legends..... they go dragged through the woods etc - cases got scratched up but that was about it.
