Try this company http://www.hbinsurance.co.uk/ they also allow you to tailor your insurance to allow for more cover on your equipment ie instead of £500 on any one item you can increase it also they can even cover you for playing paintball itself or just leave it as it is and just cove your equipment waiting for a quote from them but the basic cover is about £25

Here a link for the summary of their travel insurance policy http://www.hbinsurance.co.uk/policies/activity_summaryofcover.html hope it helps :D

Ok I understand and at least you did the kit thing the sensible way. even the link given above only does the standard cover...and the little thing to be wary of is "Wider limits available on request", "ooh how much can we charge this sucker ;)". Either way household insurance is the cheaper and better way

Ok got a reply back from HBinsurance they wouldnt increase the travel insurance policy on covering the sporting goods but they have told me about and sent me a policy to cover my gear world wide for a year at the price of £5 per £100 of the kits worth in other words if you have £1750 worth of gear the insurance for a year will be £87.50 all ya got to do is list all the items individually and you will get them replaced like for like if the are loss damaged or stolen and with the increase in gear being nicked at tourneys then it has to be worth considering.

Just give em a call and they will email or send you out the forms to fill in hope this helps

As for travel insurance im just gonna get the standard policy and insure my kit seperately
