Can i ask weather or not you have even played air ball?

I would personally suggest you try this out first before investing all this money to buying gear.

Maybe pop down the local field and ask someone to borrow a full setup, people are usually willing to lend some kit out.

There is no 'best starting kit' as everyone have their own tastes (take cars for example, everyone like different cars for different reasons).

I wouldn't say that is totally correct!
Many would class a good starting kit as a setup that has all the basics needed to play without the price associated with the newest/must have products available. Especially good for a newbie on a budget. :D

Also i would class a good starting marker as one that is easy to strip down and maintain and is also quite reliable.

as a few people have said

first get a mask, make sure it has a thermal lense. you cant go wrong with a dye, jt, empire or v force grillz etc.

personally for a first gun, you cant go wrong with an slg or pmr, get the best possible hopper you can afford and a second hand fibre wrap bottle

get hold of a second hand pair of playing pants and maybe a jersey, also a pod pack you can get for dirt cheap, then you are physically able to play.

look around in the FS section, see what you can find. if your looking for a pack, pods, mask, jersey or bottle, pm me as i have some spares lying about

Buy the absolute best bottle and hopper you can afford, as if you buy a new gun later, these will transfer across to it.
If you go secondhand, you get most of your money back when you sell them later usually.
