is there a chip in the gel coat?

basically, if you look at the Gorilla's chin and continue following it down (along that path) till you reach the bottom of tank (just where it begins to curve), there's a weird mark....

just want to enquire what that is, exactly?

I actually hadn't noticed it before as I always used the cover, it appears to be a slight chip, but the bit thats chipped off seems to have stuck to the bottle right next to where the chip is, if you get what I mean, will try and picture it now

Dang. Mine suffers from the same problem and it kinda bugs me. Was hoping to source a replacement tank but oh well.

(I blame the tight fitting Eclipse bottle covers; the zippers dig into/catch on the gel coat as you pull them over the bottle).

probably what it is, sorry i couldn't help you there. Picture of chip is up for anyone else who wants to see it, its only cosmetic damage however
