I do not take my marker in its box. I keep it in a padded area in my gear bag. Then add bottle, hopper and barrel at site.

you might find a duffle bag more suited to your needs

just got a empire unity for xmas

can fit in 2 boxes of paint plus a complete setup ohh and holds 2 guns on the outside one in a case one on the bag

perfect size for me easy to carry but not to small
