My Karni always ran fine on the default settings.
To set the regs check out the articles on sweet spotting the main reg on the PBnation.
The LPR or tickle reg should be turned up high, then keep turning it down a 1/4 turn until the marker fails to fire correctly or load right, then turn it back up 1/2 a turn. It will run fine cranked right up, but eventually you will have the pump rod fail. (Cue back block hitting your mask, followed by a load of paint!!)
