velocity is adjusted at the base of the reg using a 1/4 allen key... do it in VERY small movements since it appears very sensitive :D i switched mine for an ion reg as i prefer it and ive never had an velocity spikes or any related problems since... although its only meant to be a temporary replacement... looks funky though :)

its always an idea to change parts if you have another marker... etc just checks individual parts... hope some of that helps somewhat :D

sounds like the gun is re-cocking before it has had chance to fire

ie. the cocking rod is being moved backwards by the ram before the hammer has had a chance to hit the valve

is the back block tight against the back of the body (there should be about a 1mm gap) ?

you could try to manually cock the marker and then fire it without the soleniod connected to prove this. without the soleniod connected it should still release the sear but not activate the ram
