id say karnivor, after shooting one in my opinion leagues above any other cocker i have shot. the asa angle is perfect and fource's you to keep a tighter profile due to the way you have to hold it,

the trigger has a very different feel i think to a normal eblade due to it being a curved double finger trigger, but i prefer it, one huge advantage if u can with the hand holding the asa use ure middle finger to flick up and down the point on the trigger andlet ripp, easily hit 16 bps. it sounds wierd to explain but when u try it its fast as f**k.

ands with the cocking rod attached to the inside of the back block makes the marker even shorter.

personally i love it, but then ive had a breif play with the timmy and that to i like just not as much.

i would go with a timmy anyday. i tried a karnivor in paris and it was bouncing like a complete mofo but it didnt make any impression on me.

sure its better than the other cockers (imo) cause the trigger has the groove in but timmys are just soooooooooooo much faster.

i think the alias is just as accurate as any other gun with a decent barrel. consistencys fine, they weigh like half as much as the cocker and look cooler.

plus, the karnivor pinched me :(

earlier karnivores had some issues with the internal cocking rod thing, but i believet they've sussed it now.

If you're living in the UK, i'd suggest looking for a used e-blade first, there's tons going cheap.

Timmys are more suited to top level tourney players who have obsessions with shooting fast, they're not cheap, and you may have issues getting one repaired.

Everybody and his dog has owned an eblade in England at some point, and they're dead easy to get repaired.

QEvs and TRvs are esentially the same thing, one are made by planet eclipse and one is made by worr i believe. They are both quick exhaust valves.

Personally i'd stear clear of the Karnivore, and buy a shiny eclipse e-blade, or an evo-genius from belsales... from what you said about your status as a player both these guns would be perfect for you... ;)

DB had a new Karnivore brought to him at the Belsales Tech stand today, it had already been back to the States as it wasn't working right and although it was under warranty the owner had to pay £50 carriage back to the states. Upon it's return it was still poo and had been set incorrectly. Not sure of all the ins and outs of it (ask DB) but the upshot was that the owner is now returning it to the US for a refund. Incidentally of the 3 DB has seen, 3 have been pants!
Best advice is if you're in the UK BUY from the UK. Planet and Belsales cockers are both top of the range and aftersales service second to none. If you need work done on a Belsales cocker you don't even need to pay carriage... just bring it to the tech stand or see Tsunami at any tourney we play for return to Belsales.

I have an eblade and a timmy (which I used for the first time today), and although I like my eblade, I was blown away by the performance of the timmy. They are easier to shoot fast and personally I like the feel more. The biggest difference between the two guns will be the feel in your hands, so I would suggest just getting to hold them both at the very least. If you can't get a hold of a karnivor, just try any eblade...it won't feel that much different from the karnivor.

Both guns have wonderful eye systems, both are fast, and both will serve you well. If you cannot get a hold of the guns, I think your best bet will be to decide which looks the best to you and then see which will be the easiest to get work done on if you ever do have any problems.

Gups said that if you decide on the cocker...you should buy from one of the manufacturers in your country. I totally agree with this, both from the standpoint of convenience and from my opinion that Eclipse (and therefore besales) makes absolute top of the line products. There is nothing better. WGP makes good products no doubt, but when I'm buying a new part for my autococker, I do whatever I can to get the Eclipse part.

If I were in your shoes, my first choice would probably be with the alias, but an eclipse eblade would be a close second.

I agree 100% with Gups as an ex-Tsunami player I've had my Evo-X race gun for just under a year DB built it and it Ripps !!!! Even though I left the team I would not let ANYONE else touch my Race gun apart from DB and BELSALES !! And that includes Planet ! Belsales are without question the best of the best when it comes to cockers !!Timmys are awesome dont get me wrong I might even get one as a spare but I would never ever sell my race gun and two years ago I hated cockers !!! Ohhh how foolish was I !!!
