Neither is dressing as a ref and using a concealed paint pistol to shoot people at point blank.I bet that would add some real flair too. Nothin like a bleeding welt inflicted on you by some moron who thought it was god damn hilarious.

I dont know. Maybe my point of view on the DMW is different from yours due to the way I see it used. Usally when its used where I play its used to get into a prime firing position to plaster some poor fellow.

Yeah it is different, I would like to think I would try to adhere to the rules, just because you don't like the DMW (which is not against the rules) doesn't give you the right to break the rules !!
Get it or do you need me to spell it out again ?

dead mans walk

dead mans walk should be banned. Few american pro teams do it, because it show disrespect for your opponants, and poor sportsmanship.
It also give lisence for some twat to bonus ball you on the way off the field, because he wasn't sure if you were actually out or not.
Bully has banned them in the past from his touneys, i think they should be banned from the Millenium series too. I know it won't be banned, but i still think it should.

So they wipe and play on, but that's ok is it ?
I mean, that don't show no disrespect and isnt unsportsmanlike now is it ?
Hmmmmm !!
And if u got your hands up in the air, there should be no bonus ballin when you are eliminated.

DMW

The dead mans walk, to do it properly, is an art form... Personnally I think its one of the balliest moves someone can make, walking through a field of perhaps four or five guys with markers that can fire up to 20 balls a second with no cover and keep your cool... damn... its class.

Two of the best masters of it are Jimmy 'The Sponge' Martin and Darren Lane-'Rushers'... CLASS!!

good on ya boys...

how do you ban a DMW

as I said I think there a great move, but even if you wanted to ban them it an impossible thing to right into the rules...

how can you ban some one from walking on a paintball field, cause thats all they're doing...just walking, they haven't decalred themselves out, they're still wearing an armband and still carrying their marker...

if you try and ban it your saying that I have to run everywhere, if I decide to walk to another barricade your saying the refs are gonna pull me from the game... i don't think so.

I usually play at this field called th Badlandz, because you can play on your own with some friends if you want, with nk Refs or mandatory chronoing. When we play we have the Honor System. Which is a set of unwritten rules that we all agree , as players in this sport, to follow. And if you violate the honor system, by trying to do a subversive thing like a DMW, you bet your sorry punk (Reffering to the one who does the DMW) ass youre gonna either hear about it or feel it. Maybe my tactics are a little heavy handed, but the best way to punish someone who breaks the Honor code is to make them never want to break it again. And you once again may bet your ass that im willing to take a little pain to deal a little pain to a ****ing cheater.

You wanna know why its a ballsy move? because there are people like me and my group of friends who are ready to give you some welts. The only problem is that when you do your little "balsy" move, you start to bring suspicion on all dead players. And if somoe forgets to put a plug in then they might get hit cause people are on edge from your move.

Its not the walking that does it. Its the arms up, in a position that normally indicates a noncombatant.

Ok, you dont seem to get that DMW isnt cheating. If a player raises his arm in the air, he eliminates himself, hit or not. If hes walking off the field with his arm raised and then decides to shoot opposing players, then thats cheating.
Walking around in the open with your armband on, clean, with arms low, shooting opposing players is not and cannot be cheating.
If a player is smart enough to fool the opposition like that then fair play to him. If you are shot by someone doing a DMW and you shoot him back after he has clearly shot you in a self check zone, then you are the one cheating.
