For a personal favourite it would be either my first gun- the SL68 pump, or the Evolution Autococker as just the best built gun I've ever shot.

That said, the Level 7 Automag is a an incredible piece of engineering- I took one out at the weekend (dinner and a movie, no joy;))and was amazed at how straight, consistent and quick it was. Not bad for a 15 year old design!

Autococker- it is the Rube Goldberg of paintball guns. It started as a pump, got jimmied into a semi, and was then grafted with an electronic control frame. If propane ever does become the way of things, autocockers will be retrofit to use propane.

I am also very fond of Timmies for being so tough and fast.

Managing suppressive shooting and overcoming established dominance are the major skills of tournament paintball. If anything, it seems like these skills are more sophisticated than the skills of sneakiness and first shot accuracy which were so much more important back in the pre-electric era.

But that is probably fodder for a different topic (and probably one that has been hashed out before).

You know, Gyro, you're not half-dumb for a Mod--and I think that's an excellent topic. Nearly as good as the marginally off-topic rift on Communication over in T & T I didn't post in but wanted to.

Meanwhile-- my favorite gun is my 89 degree blade frame J2 from CCM with circumcized Perfect Bore barrel. It is without question the epitome of the mechanical marker art and a better cocker than any real cocker. Where electros are tools the J2 is a machine.

Gyro says:
My secret: clauses and parenthesis. I can make anything (assuming that something is being discussed), so long as someone, preferably someone new to the boards, is asking something that my forebears (and forecattle) have discussed when I was new, ad nauseum, sound insightful. It is really the same old answers- just stirred up to disguise the plagarism.

AKA Viking.
First gun I shot that could actually spit out at the speed the halo was feeding it. Awesome!

Ugly as **** though in standard form.

[edit] and not much better in milled to **** versions either..... [/edit]
