On my desktop I want my icon titles (my computer, recycle bin etc) see through rather then being the colour I select for my desktop. I have the 'peace' background selected.
I've been through the appearance settings and advanced but can't figure out how to do it and am annoyed with it now.

Anyone help?

Cheers,

Paul

Change the desktop font size down to 28. Do this in display properties/appearance then select desktop icon in the drop down box :)

Job done.

If you right clcik on a spare space on the desktop, go to arange icons, you don't have a tick in the 'Lock web icons on desktop' do you? If you do untick it :)

Also go into control panel/system/advanced. In the performance section click settings then make sure you have a tick in the 'use drop shadows for icon labels' as well :)

Tell me if that worked :)
