Since it was brought up :D there is a lot of other good equipment out there.

Goggles - I love my Vforces and wear them for reffing. Most comfortable, never fog, only drawback is they're so damn big (or at least feel that way). Broz - I wear my glasses under my Invisions but I did get smaller frames so they'd fit.

Pants - Has anyone tried the new Redz pants yet? I got a pair for AC and they rock. As comfy as the Dyes, big skid pads for those who have poor sliding skills (moi) and squeegie pockets you can actually use. Biggest drawback for them is the lack of cargo pockets, but when do you use cargos in a game

Shoes - My local field just got an order of the Dye shoes in. Way comfy. Only two problems with them - they didn't get any size 13 in (big feet :D ) and they don't make high-tops yet. I agree with the comment about the grip pattern. Don't know how well they'll work in heavier terrain.

Gee, I hope this doesn't count as a threadjack.... :D  :D

ive had jt playing gear for years but am planning on getting some of the new dye pants tops and gloves after xmas...loads of people have told me their gear is smart

pads wise im still very happy with the trace knee/shin pads ive had for ages...might try a pair of the dye slide shorts tho

goggles i figure if it aint broke dont fix it...i used vents preditor gogs for AGES but it became impossible to get new lenses so i swapped to flex 7s a couple years ago and cant fault them other than the little studs that hold the ear peices on snap if they take a close range hit...nothing a little inventivness with a drill and a bag of zip ties cant fix tho...works better than before too!
have heard a couple of people say that the dye gogs fog like crazy and they do look a little small on people (ears hanging out and chins showing) also have heard a coulpe people say they rub on their cheek bones.

looks wise i think the dye gear has it this year....jt will no doubt come up with some more stuff soon.

someone mentioned pb shoes...jt dont do any but i think that vans had some out...not tried em tho...im still wearing digger x-treams and am quite happy with them...dry feet and good grip...works for me

They're so tight they wouldn't go over the trousers anyway  Trace kneepads rule utterly.
The new DYE gloves are pretty pants. A friend bought em and after two games thery were fraying on the palms and on the velcro. They also started sagging on the palm and fingers and yes they were the correct size.

Go JT all the way :D

Made in China. Badly.

Has anyone else noticed the shocking decline in the quality of JT kit since the Brass eagle takeover? New flex-7's are too flexy, gloves fall apart, etc, etc. Just bought a crosswind, sorry, vortex fan and despite same high price quality of manufacture is way down. I'm all for saving money at the production stage as long as quality is maintained or prices drop.
Cheaper production+same price=higher profits=boo.
New Dye gloves are very good. Try Raven knee pads, mighty fine.

my humble opinion

JT goggles (flex 7) are the best . Make sure you use soft ear protection.

Dye pads are the best. I love them.

I thought that RASE pants were the best untill I was given a pair of DYE pants to wear at cup. WOW. They are soooo much cooler than the RASE pants. I'm talking temperature here not style. I do think they ought to make more sizes instead of relying on that B.S. velcro closure.

The Dye A.T.C. cleats are O.K. I got mine for free at Cup and I must say that the price was right. If I had to pay sixty dollars or whatever it was they were asking for them I would have been pissed. They are already coming apart. And they are uncomfortable. My feet hurt after wearing them. But hey, at least I look good while limping around the field.

Has anyone tried the new NEXED line of clothing. They have some pretty pimp paintball pants. Check them out if you get the chance

I think Dye has the best casual wear line.

JT has a nice luggage line. Dye does not make one as far as I know so I guess that means JT wins by default.

Yeah Dye does do a luggage range, and rather cool it is too. Have a look on their website, pretty simular range structure to JT.

The stuff looks good, but i cant say i'm a fan of their medium size bag where the marker is slung outside the bag itsellf. Kinda defies the point in having a bag to keep your gear covered up from the elements and such like.

:D DYE RULZ :D
I MEAN take their gogles for instance?..
they look good for a start?
the ventalation is better than JT gogles
it has a realy cool curved lense witch is thermal
so what if it is for small heads..?
the JT range of gogles are quite boaring
exept for the protons..protons are realy the only good mask
witch JT have done?
so i vote for
DYE!!!!! DYE!!!! DYE!!!:D  :p :)
