If you don't like the hard proteus JT have just released the soft black + clear mask.


Where the shape is the same at the original proteus but the lower part (mouth) + the top part (ears) are made out of a flexible material.

Pheonix paintball had some in - but I think they come with a heafty price tag around £116 Ouch

Between us the Rushers have had 18 sets of old and new Proteus goggles, each of which has had several sets of new lenses (as recommended)

Even so - we have only seen one lense break due to being crushed in the bag.

I dont think this is a design fault.

Gotta agree with Mark here.

The machine has had about 18 sets (9 of the first smoke kind and 9 of the newer all black kind), and none of us has had any cracked lenses as far as I know.

The lenses and the goggle frames are exactly the same as the Flex 7 as some of us have changed them for different colour frames for a more unique look.

We may be sponsoured by J.T but I know that i wouldn't be using them if their was any question of me loosing my sight!
