Actually Gothenburg is the closest, only about 90 km from Varberg (Malmö is about 240 km?) - and I even think it´s easier to get to from other countries, they have more flights than Malmö that´s for sure!!

Camping is free, just contact Dragan ( phonenumber on the website)
Closest airport is Gothenburg. And you can catch a train or bus to Varberg from there easy. If you guys need help to get to the site from Varberg we can help out. Or hire a car in Gothenburg. Taxi is a no no!!

There´s always busses from the airport into the city of Gothenburg - from there you have trains going to Varberg (only about 40 minutes I reckon?), it really isn´t a problem!
Or else get in contact with some of those nice and friendly swedes attending OR organising this event - I´m sure they will be very helpfull!

Thanks for the airport. Would there be the possibility of catching a boat? Does Sweden have ports

Well depends where you wanna go - there´s a boat from Gothenburg to Kiel... Or to Denmark?!
Try having a look at viamichelin.com - or just do a search on Google! You will find many a useful informations on Sweden + it´s geography! But I do believe it will take waaaaay too long sailing from the UK to Gothenburg!
Best bet I can give you is as mentioned to do a flight to Gothenburg and catch a train, both Ryan Air (not good for paintball though?) and SAS flies there on a daily basis - you can go to Copenhagen as well and take a train from there straight to Varberg, BUT that´s about 3 1/3 hours instead of only about max. 1...

Yes i was thinking it would take too long. Catching a train to Stansted then getting a cheap ass flight from there to GOT, and then a train seems to be the best bet. Thanks for your help
