Just how far are we going to take this? Fair do's, he died, RIP, condolences to his family, and fair play to him for his charity work. Hat's off to him, respect where it's due.
But are we gonna say the same when Noel Edmonds dies? Or are we just remembering somebody from our past, and pretending to be all upset because it makes us feel all kitcsh, and cool for remembering how he presented You've Been Framed? So did Mandy Dingle for christ's sake. Like anybody has cared about him in the past 10 years, like he has made a difference to any one of us. He was just another guy on TV, a figure of fun if you will, and people are labelling him a legend because of it.
God forbid somebody like Harold from Neighbours or Wolf from Gladiators dies, there'd be floral tributes all over Lassiter's and up the Travelator.
