I personally don't see the big deal... the picture really didn't show much of anything. As stated before, people probably see more from primetime T.V. Besides, I liked that picture!!! Hahahaha.;)

I didn't find it offensive in any way nor do I think it "harmful" in some unspecifed way but--I also think a couple of other things might be worth consideration:
1) it's possible that sort of thing does bother the girls and women on the forum. Look at Guppy's posts, she says she wasn't particularly bothered yet it sent her a clear signal and she copied it so she could put clothes on it. Mixed message, at best.:)
2) the forums do have general if nonspecific guidelines about language or other potentially offensive content and images, like the avatars, don't need to be read. Any thread you look at you can't avoid seeing the avatars while you can pick and choose what you read. My point is avatars are first thing, more or less, that everyone sees looking at a thread or post so it has greater impact than one might imagine.
And if you're concerned about it might as well change it.
Well, that was a lot of blather, wasn't it?

Personally, I'm waiting for a pre-determined number of pleas begging me to change my avatar before I get rid of it.:D

Ah roost...You are a scumbag, no matter whot your avatar is...I'd stay well clear of you...:D

As for the avatars and whot mummy and daddy think. Hell. The kids make up the largest % of people with these avatars I think. My largest concern regarding these avatars is for people reading the forums at the office. Marty, do some work! Someone once commented about someones avatar was going to get them busted at work.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that avatar. You see more sexually depicted material walking down the streets of London. I say leave it up if you want Roo.

Yo Baca! Leave it man! It's great. My wife saw it, and she started laughing her head off, so I asked her what was up, and she told me what that worried look of yours reminded her of. Have you seen The frighteners? Remember that weird FBI agent that was basically phobic of everything?.....:D

As far as Roo's avatar is concerned, I'd say it's a borderline case. You cut the picture off at a very strategic level.

Jenna was a great avatart. As previously stated, you cropped it in just the right place. Now, the dude who has one with the girl taking off her top showing both knockers, that is too much. This is a public forum. I think Jenna was fine though.

Good point my man, what about that avatar? Much as I liked it, that was far more lewd and yet doesn't seem to have bothered anyone....on the same note, someone had an avatar of a woman in a giant champagne glass, cavorting in not much more than soap suds for our pleasure and no-one has complained about that either. Is it because Roost is a mod?
Frankly, kids could access far more lewd material almost anywhere, including any copy of "Stuff" or " FHM" or "The Sun". If there parents are so concerned, and they really should be, they should have nanny programmes that are more than capable of dealing with smut

Baca please change your profile, it's scaring me:eek:

Rooster Honey

Of course I will voutch for you a hapily married family man with a small child. Like most a healthy intrest in naked young ladies. This don't make you a perve just alive still and not dead from the waist down good for you.

Rooster you Chip, Buddha, Manning, Pete (Robbo) TJ, Mr Big any one I have missed appologies over dose of sleep :D Should all remeber the flack we had when offencive stuff WAS being used.

Jenna well as you had so taste fully cut her off in her prime, I did and don't take offence.
She is a publiclly accesable figure who I now know makes her money from flaunting her self. If she can handel it and her silicon then good for her. As you all know by now I am no prude.......... I don't watch porn for some strange reason .................. might be cause I am a girl ........... ect So I just thought she (jena) was one of the arm of silicon babes. To be honest I found her hair far more alarming it sorta peaks at strange angles around her face .......

To be honest I think a cut off Jenna is far more alluring and titivting than all out and on show but just my opion. dancing champayne girl is too small and I think really clever.

None of the images used give me personally cause for concern and I think if mothers and more so fathers were worried about images the current one's of cooks would worry them far more.

Your son looking at naked women, your son looking at 2 men smiling apparently doing "stuff"?

I know which I would worry about, now we all know cooks and his antics for better or worse and our brains are now either mentally scared by certain images or on auto piolt to divert any unpleasnt images (toilets/ sid )

I think personal images, ie real people, can be far more offenceive than taste full public asscess figures. I think the trend towards scantily cald girls is nothing new just boys being boys. If we go back to the very boarder line soft porno style I will take offence. A Clothed immage can be far more sugestive and provcative and if I weren't such a tec phobe I am sure I could shock you all with something along those lines. Don't get excited cause I won't.

Rooster I have not read the wording and I applude you for taking her off after 1 complain very decent of you. I also thank you for reconising there are more ladies using this board now:D

The bigest concern most mothers of paintballing junior have is the cost and time not spent studying please younger members correct me here. I think any mother knows her son will want to look at porn. This is not me saying go for it guys!

Just if you feel the need to represent your self to the world as a naked woman then as long as she is not some one's wife girlfreind and a leigitamate picture thats not ott go for it.

Guppy so when do we start posting hunk of the month do ya think we need a bag of paint to make it descreet of just a hopper

If it only takes a hopper to cover, it's not worth hiding!
Gotta be at least a bag of paint, & maybe one of those flat suitcase style boxes :D

But you have a good point there Sparklie - you don't see the girlies having pictures of almost-naked porn star guys as their avatars (then again, this could be because most male porn stars are gross & ukky.) I'm never quite sure why they use these avatars as they obviously have the pictures available so can use them as wallpaper or something & look at them all the time anyway.
