The barrel pictured is a Sly Equipment barrel of mine, but the same principal with Stiffi barrels.
Carbon fibre is strong material but also very brittle when used in the PB barrel making process. It is usually only strong in one direction and when subjected to any side force, the result is not good.
It will snap like a twig across your knee, so beware of the dives.
