Come off it Bud, it was blatantly Robbo's newest best mate, Dave.

Pie was not meant for you sweetie;)

I have my suspisions the guilty one may well be on site this weekend ........... a large can of whoop arse served cold me thinks.

I will explain forum etiquette to them.

No one put up any annocement it was open season on Robbo and I take offence on his behalf. Fine figure of a man that he is:eek:

I think some imaginationed challanged newbies thought this line of thread was amusing:eek: :(

Thank you very much to beaker for starting two we thought out and threads.

I think possibly the trend for dribble tends to encourage these types of threads also and as the moderators put it lowers the tone.

For any one who has not met Robbo or any of you other Names it is very easy to take things personally and misconstrue the whole content by it's owners very own personall style. I am sure a number of you have your own opinion of me based on how you percive me from my posts the only yard stick avalible to you.

As Dave puts it we all hero worship those people with high profiles that are "acssessable" to us. Every paintballer I have ever met remembers their first time and a person or persons who made that experince. I had a grown man in tears (all be it a very drunk) flaming his person although my points are valid, he defended him to the hilt.

Some times it is hard for newbies they desperatly want to post some thing, any thing, a lot of them will be young and not think first (not an age thing) and when they see the banter that will and does happen it makes it ok in their eyes. I am not saying cut the banter life would be very dull. When ever I have thought oh yer whats that all about I check the players stats mabey all newbies should be required to give more information, if only to the moderators and then if they do make these huge fopars they can be quickly and polietly warned as their age staus is avalible to the moderators. No excuses every one is responcible for their own personall actions, if you can't back it up or face the consequences don't go there.

Just my opion

peace love and cookies

Sparklie, Dave did little or nothing wrong, especially when it comes to the post that Buddha mentions here. Imho you have nothing whatsoever to chastise him for. Even in the long thread he went nowhere near as far as Pestilence, Famine and Robbo.

C'mon guys can't we all just have a group hug or something?
P8 has helped me get into this sport and I wouldnt want it to go down the pan and end up as one big slagging match or people not wanting to post in fear of a moderator jumping on them.
Lets get back to having a good laugh and promoting paintball to newbies and old hands alike. I personally think the moderators do a fantastic job ( but a little too soft at times) so let the feudin' and the fussin' end and get back to enjoying paintball on and off the field.
