is a bloody good, very light hearted, mostly fancy dress, drunken orgy of woodland paintball, inflatable sheep, space hoppers and Niall's life blood f**king awfull scrumpy.

I don't think it is invite only but the number of teams are limited and everyone in the world wants to play so first come first served.

The most memorable Wurzel Bash for me was the '97 one, I think. The Sharks were playing in fancy dress as Public schoolboys, including satchels for battlepacks. Billy drunk all the scrumpy in the trophies, then proceeded to replace his pots for cans of lager before his games. Ateo got spannered by Janette on the New field game, it was only the third time she played, and to top it off, we all retreated to the Black Swan at the end of the day for the Sharks to gang up on Jeff Abbott as they likened him to singer KD Lang. Our laughs soon turned to disgust when we realised that Billy, who had remained quiet during the tirade, shat himself standing at the bar...
