Right all just have a question for all you tech's out there :) , was thinking today while walking around Tesco's thinking about *if* a bottle ever went off (ie went bang ;)) when a player made a large slide/dive. What type of radius are we talking about? and I know there would not be much in terms of the player left .

Just that how many people really have thought about having a mini sized bomb only a few inches away from there body when diving onto there bottles/Markers?

Just a thought :)

What a pleasant thought

only guessing cause i dont actually know!
if u had the biggest bang possible id guess at a few feet
although wats more likely would be the drop and the bottle exploding apart and having a lovely extremely fast bullet the size of ur air tank flying across the field
Although thats all guess work but i hope its accurate

well this calls fir a test

need 1 full bottle

1 large vacant parking lot

1 permit

1 sandbag bunker to hide behind/under

spray paint the bottle orange so the pieces will be easyer to find

make sure site is well away from populated areas and streets

dont think it would be likely or easy for this to be done but it would be interesting

Actually, it wouldn't be that bad. The fiber bottles most of us use are designed so that when they do go bang, they don't shred into fragments, but just tear up instead. In other words they split open.
The effect would be pretty bad on the person holding the tank, but as far as range goes, it's hardly worth being scared of. On the other hand, if the reg would come off somehow, you would have a rather crude and unpredictable missile zipping around.
