I do not know if it arrives in shops b4 or after my door mat as there are NO shops in my area that sell it, but i am subscribed so i dont really care. It was just a biatch over a year ago trying to find anything about paintball. (then i found here and......etc etc)

Keep up the good work.

And robbo I look forward to these 2 great articles;) :D

By the way, how come it always appears in the shops a day or two before it lands on doormats? Not exactly a big incentive to subscribe, is it?

The mass merchants get them quicker because it's easier to box 5000 copies of PGI and send them to the Dick's Sporting goods Distribution center than it is to send a single copy to 5000 different people.... ;) at least that's the way it works with say Bras Eagle...they are set up to do huge volume so when a smaller distributor comes along...if wal-mart is schedualed to go with their stuff....well you can imagine who goes to the back of the line as far as getting things...

There's been a few occasions when a friend has phoned me up & said "what about this article" at least a day or two before my copy has dropped on the doormat at home. I would imagine that they get sent to the big distributers first followed straight after by the subscribers but of course it takes a couple of days to arrive in the post whereas it can be in WH Smith's the same afternoon depending on location.

rancid

Mother, is that you?
Strictly speaking you should get your copy a couple of days before they go on sale regardless of bulk sales, this is especially the case in US and RoW. Ok every now and again there may be some f up at the mailing house, but generally...

Liz, your posty is obviously reading the mag before he delivers it. Have a word.

I get my copy at least two(maybe three) weeks after you talk about it on P8ntballer. I read "check out his article..." on the site, and by the time I get my copy to look, the thread has already been worn out. Every point I wanted to bring up has already been made, and there is usually no reason to post anything. I knew it would take awhile, but DAMMMMMNN!:)
