Hey guys, just gonna give you a rundown of what I hope to be buying by the end of march so tell me if tis good, crap, wheather I should shoot myself ro stop playing completely :p

Unfortunately my PB park can only fill to 3000PSI, so if your gonna point that out about the air bottle then ive already taken it into consideration :(

Ion with Titanium Body Kit

0.8L 3000PSI Air bottle with low pressure reg

All American Back with silver teardrop front - prolly about 16-18 inch total length

Viewloader Evo II

VForce Profilers (grey)

-

Once thats ordered a bit later once the rest of my team is all fitted out I intend to either get a blackheart or the Virtue board setup for it.

So tell me what ya think, any suggested improvements.

Trying to keep it as close to £300 as I can, so dont go suggesting I get a timmy or anything :p

Thanks

Bon

First off, you have to face the age old thing of 'do i buy new or 2nd hand'?

Ion = great

bottle = buy a 2nd hand fibre wrap 1.1 4.5k. Even if your site only fills to 3k, it's the same amount in your bottle and you'l thank the bigger capacity in the long run. a 0.8 3k bottle is a waste of time.

Don't get a 18" barrel no matter what and if i were you until I got the hang of what I wanted I wouldn't have a 16" either - get a 14", get used to decent gas efficiency, and then make you mind up about going 2" longer as and when

have to agree with the size of the botle, unless you have got really small arms i suggest that you up the anty and get a 1.1, otherwise youll be lucky to get 3 pots out of it, i would also get a 4500-5000 seeing as your in a team, you may want to go to tourneys like the masters, which have fill stations that fill to 5000 if i remeber rightly. thats imo. hope this is of help

Will "probably" buy the majority new, stuff like the profilers maybe second hand

The bottle, if I see anything come up then yea, I will probably go for that then if the 0.8L is a waste of time.

Thanks for the help and any other suggestions? :)

in all honesty unless you upgrade the internals ect of an ion with QEVS and bolts to lower your dwell (i wont go into this) then the time it takes to cycle isnt low enough to get 19+bps and the stock board already has ramping ect on it so you dont need it for that, i would spend the money on playing for now, just get things you 'need'

Thats my opinion anyways

i would recomend ions to any new players but if you want a good gat you could pic up a Angel LCD for about 120£ (correct me if im wrong) then that would leave you with 180£ for hopper and tank and if you decide you want better performance in a year or so get a new gat or get the LCD Spitfired. Just my opinion

The stock Ion board has ramping? You sure? I was under the impression that it had eyes on, and eyes off, and that was all... Or are you talking about the blackheart board?

Doesn't it have rebound on a UK board and other modes (like burst and full auto) if its a US board.
