Hi- I bid on the angel on ebay. Regardless of how many shots he says he gets out of the tank, do you reckon that it sold for a good price?:)

eBay

Yes, I was thinking of bidding on this but noticed it had already been listed once and didn't get any bids so the alarm bells rang (possibly incorrectly). Also, it didn't say it was an LCD so must have been an LED (?).

As it has an air system, if all is OK, I would say it was an OK deal. I just sold an exact same air system for £100 so £325 isn't bad for an Angel.

Let us know how it performs.

I appreciate your honesty. I'll let you know how it performs. How do you rate ebay for selling paintball stuff? I notice some familiar names on this forum....

eBay

You'll find mostly everyone who sells anything worthwhile on eBay somewhere on here and you'll certainly get honesty, blunt as you like ;)

eBay is OK for selling stuff as long as you don't expect great prices. Plus there are some very overpriced sellers on there, mentioning no names (perhaps some think that of me?). If it's any good, you're better posting a for sale ad on this forum under classifieds than eBay. eBay's paintball selection (UK) is growing though. I find that not much sells well over £500 on eBay unless it is hard to find and you can get sniped at very low prices or put people off if you don't set your reserves right. Oh yes, and BillPoint is very expensive.

Are you thinking of selling?

I've actually sold quite a bit on eBay over the last few months. Its been mainly old pieces of kit that I wasn't looking to make a huge profit from, but rather wanted to clear up some room at home. I've just posted my cocker on the classified on this website. I think that eBay is good for buying and selling due to its secure nature- I can't speak from any experience on this web site yet, but again, I'll let you know. I agree there are some extremely over-priced pieces of kit out there on auction sites, although like someone pointed out, it is a case of "testing the water". When buying kit, we could all hunt around for the best deals about, but personally, I don't have the time to trawl the net. A lot of the time the impulse buy mentality kicks in too. I wish I had caught the auction for the cheaper angel though....
