Well my better half is cool with it all :)

Pretty much let her knew how it was from the start, told her if she ever came between me and ballin then she would be out the door! She came and watched, That was 3 years ago. Now she is sub for our main squad :)

In the last 6 months we have spent 1 weekend away from ballin, had a lovely romantic weekend in the peaks. When we headed home i got a text from the guys playing Phoenix cup telling me they had made the finals, i just looked across at her and she said go on then :)

Shes pretty understanding like that :)

Oh and then i went and proposed to her at a big site piss up and she said yes :) So guess I must love her almost as much as ballin!

My missus is certainly understanding and supportive of my paintball habits (Even when she's had to come pick me up from hospital or drive me to one after games).

Without her support I wouldnt be able to play half as much as I can now. She brought me my first marker after a year together, and another one 6 months after that.

She tried playing recball once, but wasnt that keen. She's mentioned wanting to try a sup'air game at some point.

To be honest she should be stuck on the sponsers sig, for me atleast.

Hmmmmm

I find that a segregation of bird and paintball is neccesary. I subscribe to the philosphy of:

"What goes on, on tour, stays on tour"

And besides 80% of blokes are single on Friday and Saturday nights anyway, so a little bit of singledom on a Sunday won't be noticed will it?

My better half doesn't seem to mind at all, think she likes the peace and quiet when I'm away... either that or the milkman pops around when I'm out :p

On the other hand I don't mind when she goes to Africa to see her family for about 2 months out of the year... the lapdancing bars in Newcastle don't mind her being away either cause its there busiest time of the year :D

Only thing she ever compains about is the 'is that another gun you have' scenario... women don't understand the need though for having newer and better things, even when you reason with them saying its the same as them buying clothes!!! :D typical

LOL.

Absolutely, perhaps we should organise a Lapdance exchange program to determine the best lapdancing bar in the UK, bit like the PA Cup, but for dens of inequity?

Goose,

Mission paintball WAS just about to start though and she wouldn't let go of the remote control............. See my point now :p ;)

My wife never a happy bunny when paintball is mentioned.

She just switches off, then when the thing i just told her about drops through the letter box. or i go out to a practice/tourny, she kicks off, saying "you never told me"

She gets really upset when she finds out things like.....

1. new marker in my kit bag.
2. cost of new marker she just found.
3. cost of a tourny I just been too.
4.I am playing in the morning, and didnt tell her....(I did!)

just little things like that. Whats the problem?

And I agree about the clothes thing...that doesnt count cause its a woman thing. Even though she must spend about as much as I do a month! NOT FAIR!

Yeah my wife has no problem spending £100 on a pair of shoes, yet when I spend £100 on a Halo she gets all confused and says that its no neccesary??!! :)

Women are a strange breed... if it came down to paintball or the other half I knwo which one would win...

I'm sure I can get a cleaner in for less money than it takes to keep the wife :D (awaits bashing from the female of the species!! ) :p
