We locked our kit in the minibus last year.
Someone broke into that and nicked everyone's personal stuff and some cash.

Problem with a lot of tournies is car security..... during the awards/prizes most players are back in the safe area, the ones leaving early have gone.

When else do 200 people leave a few grands worth of stuff in parked cars in a dark field?

Lol im from South Africa and yeah we do take security seriously!

The fact is the only time something is gonna be done is when its too late. Thats human nature.

The sad truth is you cant trust everyone at an event, I mean ffs you dont even know 1/2 the players let alone the spectators! Cars are such an easy target as everyone is always focussed on the players/games/tents/stalls etc And often cars are park so far away because people dont want the car to get painted :)

There should be some sort of car & tent area patrolling enforced, even a tag system for tent entrance (like at M events). I mean these are 2 very easy very cheap security options that should be done at every event.

DO SOMETHING BEFORE ITS TO LATE!

*clink clink* - My 2 pence ;)
