Ironmen sold or Matrix bought?

Crazy cool things are happening at Dye. One of the Ironmen told me that they now own the rights to make the Matrix. Since Gen-E already owns an X-Ball team, that means Dye now owns the rights to the Matrix! Expect the LA Ironmen to be shooting the new Matrix 2 guns as soon as the next PSP X-Ball event. They were going to sneak over to Tolouse this weekend and play with a few of the new M2's but no French X-Ball for them. Now they are trying to get more of the all new Matrix guns ready for the next U.S. X-Ball stop in Philly.

Time to sell off your old lcd Matrix because the new Dye one will be faster, smaller and much much cheaper. Remember what happened to the shocker market when smart parts unveiled the shocker, you can't give one of those boat anchors away. Ditch yours fast because proto-types should be on display at the Philly Open.

New Matrix 2. I can't freakin' wait.

Ironman matrix is produced by Gen E sports I believe and is only smaller due to the dead air chamber being milled off and the grip frame being moved forward, essentially they are the same as other matrices.

Unless there really is a M2 matrix coming out soon, but if that is the case why bother with the Ironman edition matrix?

The Ironman Matrix is hardly 'mini' it is based off of a standard matrix body, ie it uses a standard sized matrix bolt. Yes its cut up and therefore lighter but hardly 'mini'.

I don't think looks matter when you're shooting ropes...

just to keep on topic, i want to see one of these guns in the flesh before i decide, but i do have to say that the custom matrixs i have seen are really ugly!

point proven by the Aardvark Tequilla sunrise matrix with milling done by three year olds,
and the horrible milling on the NYX matrix. (the idea is good by the milling simply sucks)

The only good one i've seen is the Trauma matrix.

The toxic one is ok too.

Yeah but the Trauma isn't 'milled' it's engraved... The ironman is ugly in my opinion but definitely milled.

Not seen anything special in terms of Matrix milling styles yet.
