i was one of the first people in the country to own an ion, got it from the first batch with the American board inside. First time i aired it up a hose split in half, then when i tried to get my hopper off the feedneck came off instead. Not a happy bunny with the ion from that point on.

I ave shot fully upgraded ones but they still feel like theyre powered by a spring when you shoot.

People are happy with them until they get something better, then they realise how bad it really is.

the good thing about IONs are that it is cheap, so more people can get into the sport, if they do buy a different gun later on then its up to them, but before the ION there was no clear cut way into paintball that could keep up with shockers and timmys. Though with the PMR and MINI i would say more people are gona get them instead of IONs, again though, people get a PMR or MINI then straight away want to upgrade or buy something better.

Makes me laugh when i read threads like this.

Me and john c have ions that probebly cost in total retail value £400!!!!!

They will both out shoot any of the hi end markers in all areas.. speed, accuracy 0 kick and i mean 0 kick they will shoot paint that no other marker would shoot we are talking break from knee hight stuff, i have pretty much every gun on the market and time after time it the ion beats it.

Evryone believes the hype all other manufactures put out and are slaves to image.

take it from a technical point instead of image and hype and the ion will win hands down.

It is the best firing mechinisim, most efficiant and simple. blow forwards FTW

The work and manufacturing process that go into the ion in some cases outclass other manufactures. they are all made in china nowadays anyway.
